Summit Home Medical Equipment offers FREE local medical equipment delivery setup on most equipment*. For ‘stat’ orders on Oxygen and other life-support equipment, we will dispatch a technician to deliver and setup equipment upon receiving your order from your physician or hospital/care facility. For most other types of equipment, we will request authorization from your insurance company or up-front payment on cash-and-carry items. Once we receive this, we will schedule a delivery with you or someone at your residence to come by and deliver/setup your items.
When one of our friendly service technicians arrive, they will identify themselves and request instructions on where you would like your equipment before assembling your items (if necessary). Once the equipment is ready to go, the technician will then educate you or someone in your household on how to use the equipment, basic troubleshooting and any cautionary items you may need to be aware of. To finish up, you will be asked to review and sign off on your paperwork and you will be ready to start benefiting from your home medical equipment as you begin to more effectively manage your health at home.

Most of our DME, Mobility Items, Supplies and other bulky items are delivered for your convenience with complimentary home medical equipment delivery setup service. If you have a special situation that you feel you need to come by our warehouse to pick up equipment, you are welcome to do so between our operating hours Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. Some items, primarily cash pay items and smaller miscellaneous low-cost items must be picked up from our location or arranged to be delivered for a shipping fee. Also, if your equipment requires a clinician to initially setup, you will need to make an appointment with us and your equipment will be provided at the time of your visit. This often applies to items such as CPAP equipment and supplies. Free Delivery and Setup/Installation does not apply to Home Accessibility Equipment such as vertical platform lifts, stair lifts, ramp systems, vehicle mobility lifts, bath safety grab bars, walk-in showers and tubs or any other item that requires modifications or special permanent to semi-permanent installation.
